Chrysta is a Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant at Roberts Environmental. She studied Environmental Geography at the University of York, completing modules on contaminated land and pollution, town planning, climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy transitions, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). These studies provided a strong foundation in environmental risk assessment, land management, and sustainable development.
During her studies, Chrysta contributed to a sustainability focused project in collaboration with York Civic Trust, where she helped develop proposals to enhance green infrastructure and biodiversity within York city centre. This involved stakeholder engagement, research, and the design of initiatives aimed at improving urban environmental quality and community well-being.
Since joining Roberts Environmental, Chrysta has been supporting projects across land and soil management, as well as environmental and geotechnical consulting. Her work involves site investigations, data analysis and technical report preparation, including assessments of contaminated land, environmental risk and development sustainability. She also brings experience from her time working with Hydro-Met Products, where she gained practical knowledge in environmental instrumentation, further strengthening her technical expertise within the geo-environmental sector. Chrysta has a particular interest in sustainable land use and the integration of green infrastructure within the built environment.
