Emily Broughton

Emily is a Principal Consultant and Technical Operations Manager at Roberts Environmental with extensive experience in geo-environmental assessment, including land contamination and Human Health and Controlled Waters risk assessments. She holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University and is a Member of the Institute of Environmental Science.

Emily manages and delivers a wide range of projects, from Phase 1 and 2 assessments and Environmental Due Diligence to site investigations, remediation, validation, and ground gas risk assessments. Emily is recognised for her strong commercial awareness and ability to provide clear, cost-effective advice to investors, banks, and developers on environmental risk and land quality. As a Member of the Institute of Soil Scientists, Emily also provides technical review and oversight of Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) and Soil Resource Survey (SRS) assessments.
